Partner In (Blu) Crime

When I booked my car rental through Costco Travel, I knew I wanted a small car that got great gas milage. I estimated that I would travel around 1,750 miles round trip and didn't need a gas guzzling SUV. Many of my friends and family told me, I HAD to get a vehicle that had four wheel drive just incase I needed to drive up mountains or navigate through the national park campgrounds.

So when I showed up to the Enterprise in Salt Lake City and the pulled around this beautiful sky blue Chevy Spark, I was thrilled. I love driving American made vehicles any chance I get. I grew-up in Chevy's, I own a Chevy and I think it's important to support American products, especially General Motors and the car industry.

I've never sat in a Chevy Spark or driven one for that matter, so this was going to be a first! The minute I got in, I loved it. There are so many dashboard options for music and your phone, I was thrilled. The best part was that it fit all of my camping, fishing and photography gear with no problem.

I quickly drove off (great pick-up) and was off to my next destination of Missoula, MT (about 7 hours).

Throughout this 14 day trip I have spent countless hours in what I now call Blu, driving up and down the Rocky Mountains. I have 5 days left and I've already hit 2,000 miles. Without this trustworthy, fast and cost effective car (about $19.50 a tank) I would not have been able to spend money on other activities like whitewater kayaking in Glacier National Park and four-wheeling in Yellowstone National Park.

Thanks Chevy for making a excellent car that can get even the wildest traveler to the most remote locations all while staying connected and comfortable!
