Give me some people, and I will watch them

One of my favorite things to do at any airport is people watch and eat sour patch kids.

There is something very calming about starring at people and thinking about where they're going, what struggles they have and if they're actually happy.

Everyone is different. But we have similar struggles. Regardless of skin color, household income, religion, education and sexuality we all struggle.

Family issues, financial concerns, relationship adjustments, professional changes, death, are things that we struggle with as a society at some point in our life.

For each person that I sit and watch I hope that the airport brings happiness and a chance to connect to the strengths that visit our lives in between the struggles.

Just a reflection. Next stop, Denver then Salt Lake City!
